He disclosed that the YPM had a documented membership register exceeding 90,600 members and was targeting approximately 30,000 participants for the Ijebu-Ode gathering.
Global Mirror News gathered from the address that Ogun-East was deliberately selected as the starting point of the mobilisation campaign to demonstrate the movement’s preparedness and organisational strength ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Rt Hon. Odeneye said the movement would subsequently extend its mobilisation activities to Ogun-Central and Ogun-West Senatorial Districts to consolidate support for the party and its candidates across the State.
The rally is expected to attract the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON; Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi; and the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide.

It also reaffirmed its support for APC candidates across the other Senatorial districts of Ogun State, describing the forthcoming rally as an opportunity to strengthen political coordination and grassroots participation.
Artisans Take Centre Stage in Grassroots Mobilisation
A major feature of the rally will be the inauguration of 1,180 YPM Artisans Ambassadors and Grassroots Mobilisers, an initiative the Artisan Association of Nigeria, Ogun State, says is designed to strengthen the representation of artisans in political engagement and community development.
Ayodele, who announced the initiative at the Press Conference, said Artisans remained important contributors to economic development, employment generation, skills acquisition and Community advancement.
He explained that the newly inaugurated Ambassadors and mobilisers would serve as links between the movement and residents of their respective communities, communicating the movement’s programmes, listening to public concerns and encouraging peaceful participation in the democratic process.
According to him, the initiative would provide Artisans with a stronger platform to express their concerns and participate in conversations about policies and decisions affecting their livelihoods and the future of Ogun State.
Ayodele stressed that effective political participation must begin at the grassroots, where the needs, aspirations and expectations of ordinary citizens can be heard and properly represented.
He added that the inauguration would help consolidate the movement’s structures across communities, wards and local government areas while strengthening cooperation among artisans and other organised groups within the YPM.
Global Mirror News reports that the initiative forms part of the movement’s broader strategy to deepen its community-level presence and encourage wider participation in political activities ahead of the next general elections.

Security Agencies expected to play important roles include the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Ogun State Amotekun Corps, the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The organisers urged participants to cooperate with security personnel, obey traffic regulations, respect public facilities and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the event.
