The inauguration, held at the Odogbolu Town Hall, attracted party leaders, elected officials, political appointees, campaign committee members and grassroots mobilisers, who reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s preparations for the forthcoming elections.

The event featured the inauguration of campaign committees, the administration of oaths to committee directors, the presentation of engagement letters and financial pledges from party stakeholders to support campaign coordination, logistics and grassroots mobilisation.

Addressing the gathering, Diya praised the stakeholders for their impressive turnout, loyalty and contributions to the political development of Odogbolu. He described the newly constituted campaign committees as a team of experienced politicians and committed grassroots mobilisers whose collective efforts would be important to the party’s electoral preparations.

He expressed confidence in the APC’s readiness for the 2027 elections, particularly its governorship aspiration in Ogun West and its plans for other elective positions across Ogun State.

The candidates highlighted at the event included Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, popularly known as YAYI, for governor; Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Balogun-Adegunwa as deputy governorship candidate; Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the Ogun East Senatorial District; Hon.
