Odogbolu Council Staff Celebrate Chairman Diya at Birthday, Commend 22 Development Projects
The Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Directors, Heads of Departments and the entire workforce of Odogbolu Local Government have celebrated the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya, on the occasion of his birthday today, Sunday, September 27, 2026.
In a goodwill message signed by the HOLGA, Odeyemi Tunji Idowu, the Council staff described the Chairman as an amiable and dynamic leader whose commitment to the development of Odogbolu and the welfare of its people continues to make an impact.
The Council workers expressed appreciation for Diya’s dedication to his responsibilities, particularly his concern for the welfare of members of staff and his efforts to create a conducive working environment.
According to them, his open-door leadership style, encouragement and support have continued to motivate workers to give their best in the service of the Local Government and its residents.
Global Mirror News reports that the birthday celebration comes shortly after the commissioning of 22 developmental projects across Odogbolu Local Government, providing another opportunity for the Council leadership and staff to reflect on the administration’s focus on infrastructure and community development.
The projects, according to the Council, represent visible milestones in the administration’s efforts to improve facilities and advance the wellbeing of communities within the Local Government.
The staff congratulated the Chairman on his birthday and prayed that Almighty God would continue to grant him wisdom, sound health, strength and abundant grace to lead and serve the people with distinction.
They further prayed for God’s protection over the chairman and his family, while asking for increased blessings, greater opportunities and many more fruitful years ahead.
The message read in part: “As you add another year today, we pray that Almighty God will continue to grant you wisdom, sound health, strength and abundant grace to continue to lead and serve with distinction.”
The workers also congratulated the Chairman on what they described as the successful commissioning of 22 developmental projects across the Local Government.
They wished him a happy birthday and many more years of service, fulfilment and prosperity.
