‘Dead on Arrival!’ Lizzy Anjorin Fires Back at Priscilla Ojo Over Court Injunction

Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has reacted defiantly to an interim injunction reportedly obtained by actress Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, dismissing the legal action as “dead on arrival” and challenging the manner in which the order was served.

The controversy erupted after Priscilla made the court documents public online, revealing an interim injunction reportedly granted by the Lagos High Court on Tuesday, September 2.

The order, according to the document circulated online, restrains Anjorin from publishing or sharing photographs and videos of Priscilla, her husband, Juma Jux, and their son, Rakeem, on social media.

The injunction is linked to the long-running dispute between Anjorin and Priscilla’s mother, popular Nollywood Actress Iyabo Ojo, a feud that has generated intense exchanges and reactions across social media.

Reacting to the development, Anjorin questioned the legal effect of an order that, according to her, had not been physically served on her through the appropriate legal channel.

The Actress maintained that posting a court document on social media does not, in itself, amount to formal service on a respondent.

She therefore dismissed the development, describing the case as “dead on arrival” while maintaining her position that due process must be followed before the order can be considered binding on her.

Anjorin’s response has introduced a new dimension to the dispute, shifting the focus from the social media exchanges between the parties to the legal question surrounding service and enforcement of the reported injunction.
