Nollywood powerhouse Funke Akindele is set to return to the big screen with another highly anticipated production, “The Four: No One Fights Alone,” a drama that explores friendship, motherhood, sacrifice, resilience and the powerful bonds that exist among women.
The much-awaited movie is scheduled for a global cinema release on December 11, 2026, raising expectations among movie lovers following Akindele’s impressive run of commercially successful productions.
Global Mirror News gathered that the film was written, directed and produced by Akindele through Funke Akindele Network, while FilmOne Entertainment is handling its exclusive distribution.

“The Four: No One Fights Alone” centres on Esosa and three women closely connected to her, whose lives become intertwined as they confront difficult circumstances surrounding the future of a young man they deeply care about.
The story moves between the picturesque Odu community and the vibrant city, creating a backdrop for a narrative that examines loyalty, courage, faith, motherhood and the sacrifices people are willing to make for those they love.
