According to Global Mirror News, the record was completed following Newcastle United’s decision to appoint Matthias Jaissle as the club’s new head coach after the departure of Eddie Howe.

The 38-year-old German manager arrives at St James’ Park after an impressive spell with Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli, where he helped the club secure major silverware. His move to Newcastle represents one of the most closely watched managerial appointments ahead of the new campaign.

Pierre Sage takes charge at Crystal Palace, David Moyes continues at Everton, while Álvaro Arbeloa becomes Fulham’s new manager.

Promoted Hull City will be guided by Sergej Jakirović, while Gary O’Neil remains at Ipswich Town and Daniel Farke continues at Leeds United.

Liverpool will have Andoni Iraola at the helm, while Enzo Maresca takes charge of Manchester City.

At Manchester United, Michael Carrick continues in the managerial position, while Newcastle begin their new chapter under Matthias Jaissle.
