YPM Convener Akintunde Armstrong Bags NYCN ‘Icon of Humanity’ Award

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogun State Chapter, has honoured the Convener of Yayi Progressives Movement (YPM), Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde with its prestigious ‘Icon of Humanity of the Year’ Award.
The Award was presented at an event held at the Cultural Centre, Abeokuta on Thursday, which attracted youths from across the country. The gathering was held under the leadership of the Ogun State Chairman of the Council, Oloye Akolawole Shoremi.
Receiving the award, Akintunde expressed appreciation to the NYCN for the recognition and called on Nigerian youths to remain steadfast, focused and committed to building a better society.
He stressed the need for young people to remain purposeful in their pursuits, noting that the Nigeria and Ogun State of their dreams could only be achieved through determination, responsible leadership and collective effort.
Beyond his political engagements, Akintunde Armstrong is widely regarded as a personality who places strong emphasis on youth development, service and community engagement.
