Yayi at 57: YPM Sets Ogun Political Space Ablaze, Reaffirms Loyalty to Adeola

Movement hails senator as “standing mirror” of good leadership, celebrates his contributions and backs his 2027 ambition

The Yayi Progressives Movement (YPM) in Ogun State has turned the 57th birthday celebration of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, into a fresh show of political solidarity, describing him as a “standing mirror” of good leadership and a ble2wssing 2owfx,to the people of the state.

The movement, under the leadership of its Convener, Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde, felicitated its principal and the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as he clocks 57, while commending his contributions to Ogun State and his growing political influence.

In a joint congratulatory statement issued to journalists on Monday by the State Media Director of YPM, Oluseun Joshua, the movement said Adeola’s political journey had been remarkable, describing his commitment to public service and the people around him as worthy of recognition.

YPM said the birthday provided another opportunity for its leadership, members and supporters to celebrate Adeola’s achievements and reaffirm their confidence in his leadership.

Yayi Is an Icon and a Blessing to Ogun’

Speaking on the significance of the occasion, Akintunde said the movement was proud to celebrate its leader and principal, while joining other well-meaning Nigerians in honouring him.

“As a political support group, we celebrate our leader and principal on his 57th birthday today. I join all well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating a political icon and a distinguished blessing to the good people of Ogun State,” Akintunde said.

He stressed that Adeola’s contributions to the state extended across various sectors, urging the people of Ogun State to recognise what he described as the senator’s impact and commitment to public service.

“This is the time to let the people of Ogun State know that Senator Olamilekan Adeola is an icon whose contributions across various sectors are undeniable,” he said.

Akintunde also prayed that Adeola would continue to receive divine guidance and strength as he advances in age and public service.

“It is my prayer that as our leader advances in his glorious years, God will continue to guide and strengthen him and all those around him.

“As he marks this golden year, may he continue to experience growth, greater accomplishments and fulfilment in every aspect of his life and endeavours,” he added.

YPM Coordinator Highlights Adeola’s Humanitarian Side

Also speaking, the State Coordinator of the Yayi Progressives Movement, Hon. Olusegun Kaka, joined other leaders and members of the group in celebrating the senator.

Kaka specifically highlighted Adeola’s humanitarian gestures and commitment to the people, describing those qualities as some of the attributes that have distinguished him among his contemporaries.

He congratulated the senator and prayed for continued blessings, good health, wisdom and success.

“I join our Convener and other members of the progressive family to rejoice with and celebrate our distinguished Senator Solomon Adeola on his birthday today,” Kaka said.

According to him, Adeola’s 57th birthday was another significant milestone deserving of celebration and thanksgiving.

“This is another special day in his lifetime. We pray that God will grant him many more years in good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments,” he said.

Kaka also expressed confidence in Adeola’s political future, saying members of the movement looked forward to celebrating with him again the following year in the capacity they are currently working towards.

“We look forward to gathering again to celebrate with him next year as Governor of Ogun State,” Kaka said.
